Affordable beachfront campground
Mission Beach lies in the heart of the Cassowary Coast along a 14km stretch of white sandy beaches. 2 1/2 hours north of Townsville and 1 1/2 hours south of Cairns, Mission Beach is a little off the beaten track, sparing it from the crowds that often frequent Tropical North Queensland beaches.
Mission Beach Camping & Caravan Park offers an absolute beachfront location in the heart of the village. It's just a short stroll to cafes and shops or, simply sit back and enjoy the views out to Dunk Island from the campground.
Amenities were refurbished in 2021 and are maintained to an excellent standard. There is also a simple camp kitchen on site.
Powered and unpowered sites are available. It's best to book ahead though as sites are in hot demand from April - November.
